Discover Britain's outstanding Kitesurfing beaches

Kitesurfing requires the skills of surfing, skateboarding and sailing, plus maybe a bit of paragliding. Don’t let that put you off, and we will match you with a location and instructor to teach you the basics in a calm and safe environment. The kiteboarder (surfer) utilises the power of the wind to propel across the water while standing on a specially designed surfboard. The kite is controllable, and professionals can reach speeds of over 60 mph
Britain has a vast coastline which means there are endless kitesurfing opportunities for all levels of the sport. The activity is considered mainstream, and there are approximately 1.5 million kitesurfers worldwide.
You are never more than 80 miles from the coast in Britain. Therefore, we can add water-sports can easily be into a personalised driver-guided tour of Britain. Our England's South Coast Tour can be adapted to include Kitesurfing sites.

Amberley Castle Hotel is a luxury country house hotel in the most delightful village with tea room and traditional pub. The hotel is 1 hour 30 minutes south of Heathrow and 50 minutes from Gatwick Airport, plus perfectly positioned for England’s Wine Country

3. Watergate Bay, Cornwall, England, UK; The BEST Kitesurfing spot in the whole of Europe. The bay produces an ideal wind and wave combination.

The Watergate Bay Hotel is in the middle of the wild Atlantic action. There is an “extreme” academy, several restaurants, including a beachside hangout. The room options are great for families, small groups and couples.
4. Troon, Scotland, UK; Troon is perfect for beginners, as there are flatter conditions to enable you to hone your skills and tricks.

Stay in one of the UK’s prettiest seaside ports, Tenby. We recommend the highly-rated Penally Abbey Hotel, a petite restaurant with elegantly decorated rooms. The drive is only 30 minutes from Tenby to Pendine.
