Kitesurfing

Discover Britain's outstanding Kitesurfing beaches

Kitesurfing
Kitesurfing requires the skills of surfing, skateboarding and sailing, plus maybe a bit of paragliding. Don’t let that put you off, and we will match you with a location and instructor to teach you the basics in a calm and safe environment. The kiteboarder (surfer) utilises the power of the wind to propel across the water while standing on a specially designed surfboard. The kite is controllable, and professionals can reach speeds of over 60 mph

Britain has a vast coastline which means there are endless kitesurfing opportunities for all levels of the sport. The activity is considered mainstream, and there are approximately 1.5 million kitesurfers worldwide.

You are never more than 80 miles from the coast in Britain. Therefore, we can add water-sports can easily be into a personalised driver-guided tour of Britain. Our England's South Coast Tour can be adapted to include Kitesurfing sites.
