On this adventure discover the enchanting places in the stories such Eeyore’s Gloomy place, the 100 acre wood and Pooh bridge. Stop for tea at Pooh Corner in the delightful village of Hartfield before heading off on a second adventure to Groombridge Place and walk the Enchanted Forest.
Historic Groombridge Place is an estate with a moated manor house, 200 acres of grounds. No historic estate is complete without an Enchanted Forest and the vast woodland at Groombridge Place won’t disappoint. Take a stroll through the wide variety of beautiful trees and be amazed at the fun and adventure you will find around every corner and in every clearing. Enjoy a bird’s eye view from the forest canopy on our Treetops Walkway, the longest and highest of its kind in the UK. From there you can spy adventures awaiting in Crusoe’s World, our pirates playground.
Try out the selection of swings – family-sized for everyone to climb on plus giant swings for one. Travel through the trees at ground level on the Upper Boardwalk. Set up camp in our teepees or imagine life on the road in a Romany caravan. Check out the Standing Stones and Jurassic ferns plus other unusual plants not often seen in the UK.
