Highlights of the Harry Potter Film Studios

Great Hall
They originally built the Great Hall for Harry Potter, and the Philosopher’s Stone that since then served as the set for many recognizable scenes like the Yule Ball and the famous Battle of Hogwarts.

Forbidden Forest
A recent addition to the tour is the Forbidden Forest, where you can wander through and encounter some of the lurking creatures.

Gringotts Bank
Walk into the bank and marvel at the beautiful decorations, from towering marble columns to crystal chandeliers. Admire the piles of Galleons, Sickles and Knuts that grace the goblin tellers’ desks. After going through the banking hall, we dare you to set foot in the Vault of the infamous Bellatrix Lestrange.

Diagon Alley
This street houses different places prominently featured in the books, from Flourish and Blotts to Ollivanders shop where Harry had his first wand encounter.

Platform 9 ¾
See the original Hogwarts Express steam engine and a replica of Platform 9 ¾. Take the opportunity to climb aboard and journey through the different carriages seeing various props.

Costumes
One of the biggest tasks for the Costume Department was designing a more formal style of wizard clothing for the Yule Ball, and in total, over 300 costumes were made.
