The Broadway Golf Club bought the property in the 1940s and named it Dormy House after their treasured golfing term (a “dormy” is known as an unbeatable round). In 1977 Dormy House passed to the Sorensen family, who have been the owners since then and transformed it into a popular boutique hotel.
