We provide accessible tours for people that need a little assistance or partial use of a wheelchair. We provide accessible vehicles for full-time wheelchair users too.
It may be that you need a wheelchair for some of the day. We book ground-level rooms and design a tour around your abilities. We plan access to castles, gardens and stately homes for people of all levels of capability, and you will have a personal guide with you to help whenever you need it. Get access to the back door of Windsor Castle, for example.
We will tailor the tour to match your energy levels, with as many stops built-in as required. We provide foldable wheelchairs and ramps complimentary. Extra charges only apply to specialised equipment, such as adapted vehicles with wheelchair lifts.

Tour Planning
We meet the challenges of historical sights, galleries and old towns that present for wheelchair users and those that need more time and support. It sometimes takes extra planning and good communication at locations to support the group or family needs. Our Driver-Guides have experience with these matters and get the job done. Mobility Scooters
We now provide electric-powered mobility scooters with comfortable seats, foot platforms and easy controls. All our scooters are foldable or breakdown into sections for transportation. Hotel or airport delivery charges may apply, plus a daily hire fee of £20.
Complimentary Wheelchair Hire
We provide lightweight foldable wheelchairs for visitors. Easily stowed in our vehicles, and our guides can push the chair when required. Hotel or airport delivery charges apply.
Full-time Wheelchair Users
For visitors who bring wheelchairs, we can provide ramps for our standard medium or large passenger vans or hire an accessible vehicle with a powered lift or ramp. These adapted vehicles have dedicated wheelchair positions that can secure the chair.
Accommodation
We may occasionally require a modern hotel for practical reasons. Some historically protected buildings are unable to acquire planning permission to construct lifts (elevators). Still, there are ground-floor options at historic hotels in most cases. We can arrange ground floor accommodation when available.
