Inverlochy Castle - the classic Highland retreat

In the foothills of Ben Nevis, Inverlochy Castle, built in 1863 near the site of a 13th century fortress, sits amidst some of Scotland's finest scenery. Queen Victoria spent a week at Inverlochy sketching and painting. She wrote in her diary, 'I never saw a lovelier or more romantic spot'.

Despite 'Castle' status, Inverlochy Castle only has 17 rooms, making the property feel completely execlusive. Rooms are individually designed with splendid views of the surrounding mountainous landscape. children are well catered for at Inverlochy, activities include Woodland walks, boat trip on the loch, games room and Snooker Room.

Culloden House

Hundreds of years of history, culture and luxury are combined with a relaxed atmosphere, personalised service and superb cuisine at Culloden House. The interior features a wonderfully comfortable drawing-room with magnificent Adam plasterwork, many fine antiques and a large open fire. Visitors can enjoy all the finest things of life.

The long serving staff are attentive, but not intrusive creating a relaxed country house feel to your stay. In 2009, staff were acknowledged by their peers at the Scottish Hotel Awards for "Outstanding Customer Care",  an award given to only one hotel.

The Airds Hotel

A family-run, luxury hotel on the coast of Argyll in the Scottish West Highlands offering outstanding service, superior accommodation, tasteful décor and a gourmet dining experience.
