On the south side of the river lies the suburb of Southwark which is connected to Charles Dickens’ childhood. Some of the places Dickens describes can still be seen today. The area traditionally had an unsavoury reputation with entertainments in the form of bear baiting, gambling and raucous theatres including Shakespeare’s Globe.

If you’re interested in seeing the interior of the globe, take part in a guided tour and witness the architecture of the Elizabethan House, which is based on the original structure. A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Macbeth and The Taming of the Strew are just a few Shakespearean’s plays on at the globe during its opening season.

Be transported back to the 16th century and see the evidence of this colourful historic period and visit galleries inns, old prisons, bishop’s palaces and ancient churches.

Cross the Millennium Bridge and enjoy a personal guided tour of St Paul’s Cathedral and see the beautiful interior of the dome, one of the largest and most beautiful in the world. St. Paul’s Cathedral was hewn from gleaming white Portland stone almost 300 years ago and, after a ten-year cleaning project, it has been returned to its former magnificence. If you are feeling energetic, climb the 533 steps to the top of the dome for incredible views of London.

If you are feeling energetic you can climb the steps to the Whispering Gallery or go for it and reach the golden gallery for spectacular views of the city.

    And why we do it!

Our aim is always to be an ‘upgrade’ to anything else available, but without going ‘over the top’ with our prices. We started our business by offering simple day tours and deliver them well. It was not long before our clients were asking us to include more services and events – this we took as a compliment and felt it showed they trusted us and had confidence that we would deliver to a high standard, without the fuss.
